AdBlue® is a high-purity NOx reducing agent for diesel engines equipped with SCR technology. • SCR technology (Selective Catalytic Reduction) is based on a catalytic reaction in which harmful nitrogen oxides are converted into harmless nitrogen and water through a reducing agent (AdBlue®). SCR technology is used to meet EURO 4, 5, and EURO 6 exhaust emission standards in order to offer a sustainable driving concept in terms of economy, performance, and environmental compatibility. AdBlue has a shelf life of up to 36 months when stored in sealed containers at a maximum temperature of 30°C (average 20°C).
