Alpine Gear Oil 85W-140 GL-5 is formulated from selected base oils with a specially selected combination of additives for
reduce damage to the flanks of the teeth.
The EP additives contained in the gear oil form a load-bearing lubricating film on the tooth flanks, which prevents galling even under extreme mechanical stress and significantly reduces galling wear. Gear oil is very resistant to aging even under high thermal stress.
Good fluidity at low temperatures is ensured by the high degree of purification of the base oil and the filter additives included in the composition. The gear oil contains special active ingredients to prevent foaming and protects wetted machine parts from corrosion.
ALPINE Gear Oil 85W-140 is compatible with common seal materials.

ALPINE Gear Oil 85W-140 is primarily used in heavily loaded hypoid gear axles in commercial vehicles.
