Alpine TS 10W-40 is a semi-synthetic, high-performance, low-viscosity engine oil of viscosity class SAE 10W-40. Its base oil composition combines the advantages of base oils produced using modern refinery technology with those of synthetic components. The base oil composition and shear-stable viscosity index improvers ensure that the specified viscosity class is maintained throughout the entire oil service life. The ageing process of this engine oil is well controlled even at the maximum permissible oil drain intervals. Antioxidants and detergent additives prevent deposits, keeping pistons and valves clean and preventing the formation of cold sludge. Significant fuel savings are achieved, resulting in reduced environmental impact thanks to lower friction losses in the engine. Reduced evaporation losses prevent valve deposits, sludge, and varnish formation, ensuring clean pistons and piston ring grooves.
Application notes:
Alpine TS 10W-40 is recommended for cars with and without turbochargers, as well as for gasoline and diesel engines.
