A special, highly refined mineral-based all-season gear oil designed for safe and reliable operation of modern self-locking differentials (limited-slip – LS), main gears with hypoid gears, and other manual transmission components (final drive groups, gearboxes) with bevel, worm, and cylindrical pairs operating under extreme (including impact) loads and high temperatures.
Developed according to the requirements of NEW HOLLAND and VOLVO agricultural equipment manufacturers.
High-quality high-viscosity base maintains required viscosity at high operating temperatures and pressures. Combined with a special latest-generation additive package in elevated concentration, it ensures excellent antifriction properties, contributing to fuel economy;
Increased EP additive content and optimized composition provide excellent antiwear and superior anti-scuffing protection under forced oil starvation (startup, pulling off) and increased load at low RPM. Extends service life in extreme operating conditions across a wide temperature range. The oil film is highly resistant to extreme pressures and temperatures, protecting friction clutches and other transmission components;
Ensures proper low-temperature performance for easy starting and reliable lubrication at ambient temperatures down to –28°C;
Enhanced thermal-oxidative stability, resistance to thermal degradation and aging keeps mechanisms exceptionally clean, extends oil change intervals, and reduces maintenance costs;
Improves LS differential performance, increasing energy conversion efficiency and minimizing noise, slipping, and vibration;
Good demulsifying ability, low foam formation, and efficient heat removal from gear and clutch friction prevent overheating;
Excellent compatibility with metals, alloys, and transmission sealing materials;
Suitable for screw-type gears.
Applications:
Recommended for heavy-load manual transmissions of highway vehicles (freight trucks, buses, etc.), off-road machinery (construction, mining, agricultural), and special vehicles produced by European, American, and Asian manufacturers where GL-5 LS service level is required.
