Anticor Schwarz is a high-quality anti-corrosion and anti-graveling agent in aerosol form based on synthetic resins and rubbers. It is intended for treatment of external and internal surfaces of a car body — underbody, wheel arches, wings, aprons, lower door sills, etc. Suitable for treating the inner surfaces of the hood, doors and body reinforcements. In professional bodywork it is used to protect welds from the inside of panels, protect internal surfaces of new body panels, and to pre-treat fenders, doors, aprons, hoods, trunks, etc. before installation.
Properties:
Reliably protects the body from road salt and de-icing agents, all types of atmospheric influences and corrosion; protects against scratches from road particles (gravel, crushed stone, etc.).
Has passivating properties that significantly slow down already-started corrosion.
Forms a strong, smooth, permanent elastic film with thixotropic properties (can be applied in a thick layer without runs; self-levels; minor scratches tend to self-heal). After drying it is resistant to mechanical impact, moisture, salts, acids and alkalis. Does not chip or wear off in service.
Penetrates into the smallest crevices, displacing water from cracks and seams between body panels and forming a waterproof layer.
Excellent adhesion — holds securely even on smooth, non-porous surfaces; maintains adhesion at high temperatures and does not peel from a heated surface.
Neutral to metals, plastics, rubbers and paint coatings.
Resistant to very low temperatures — retains flexibility and does not crack.
Provides sound-proofing and anti-vibration properties, noticeably reducing road noise and vibrations of body elements and increasing driving comfort.
Dries quickly. Full declared protective properties are achieved after complete drying.
Application:
Before application, thoroughly clean the surface of rust, dirt, dust, grease, oil and other organic contaminants. For degreasing, we recommend MANNOL Brake Cleaner 9691. For best results apply at room temperature.
Shake the aerosol can well until the internal mixing ball is released and audible; continue shaking for another minute. Hold the can upright while spraying and apply in layers up to 1.5 mm from a distance of 20–30 cm. Abrasion and corrosion resistance increase with coating thickness — therefore repeat spraying once or twice after short drying intervals (1–2 minutes). To obtain a uniform coating and avoid untreated areas, spray in a crosswise pattern. The coating is not intended for over-painting.
Depending on layer thickness and weather conditions the vehicle is ready to drive again in about 2 hours. Final drying takes 12–24 hours.
Attention: After use, clean the valve on the can by spraying head down until only propellant gas is released.
